Our Story
From personal transformation to a shared haven. Uncover the roots of Soul House and the journey that shaped our commitment to wellness, connection, and community.

How Soul house was born

Soul House began as a dream rooted in a deeply personal journey. In my early twenties, I was diagnosed with PCOS, and shortly after, my father received a diagnosis of kidney disease. These life-altering moments became the catalyst for a profound shift in how I viewed health, nourishment, and healing.
I turned to food as medicine, diving deep into the transformative power of ingredients. This journey led me to train as a chef and eventually study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). As I explored the connections between physical and emotional health, I discovered yoga, spirituality, and holistic practices that awakened a deeper understanding of life and purpose.

In 2020, I made the leap to Sri Lanka—a country that has captivated my heart—and planted the seeds for Soul House. Set amidst the lush beauty of Ahangama, Soul House is more than a retreat space; it’s a sanctuary for connection, growth, and healing. It’s a place where people can pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and each other, surrounded by natural beauty and soulful nourishment.
Every detail at Soul House reflects this journey—whether it’s the Ayurvedic-inspired meals we serve, the yoga and sound healing sessions we host, or the community initiatives we champion. Each element is designed to inspire, nurture, and connect us all to a greater sense of balance and purpose.
